Lodging

The Town of Hanover currently does not have any hotels, however, the City of Madison, a historic riverfront town, is home to many charming options for lodging. The Monday dinner and evening lecture is scheduled in downtown Madison.

The Madison hotels are located close to campus, the nearest campus being Comfort Inn. The River Boat Inn and Hillside Inn are in “old” Madison down by the river, Clifty Inn is in Clifty Falls State Park (immediately adjacent to “old” Madison), and the other hotels are in “upper” Madison (on top of the bluff above old Madison) in a typical strip development with stores and restaurants. We did not designate a particular hotel because of the short distances involved and because people’s tastes and budgets vary.
