Economics and Business Institute

Come to the first annual Economics and Business Institute where you can learn more about how a market-based system works and how economists study environmental and social issues. You’ll hear from our faculty experts, and gain insight and experience through classroom simulations and experiments. You’ll also take field trips that will expose you to the workings of the banking system, the Federal Reserve and the stock market.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will scholars stay on campus?
Yes, in one of Hanover’s air-conditioned dorms and meals will be served in the Campus Center Dining Room or provided on field trips. Scholars will be mailed a list of items to bring to the Institute.

What is the cost of the program?
The cost for the Economics and Business Institute is $500. This includes housing, meals and supplies.

Where is the Academy?
The Academy will take place at Hanover College in Southeastern Indiana. Space is limited to 40 qualified students for each institute
